I recently received an Interview Request Follow Up email but I can’t find my invite to schedule. How can I schedule my interview?
No worries! Emails sometimes get lost in the shuffle, so we like to stay in touch if we haven’t heard back from you. Please search your email for the subject line “Kohl’s Invitation to Interview” to locate your invite. Still no luck? Please contact email@example.com so we can send it again.
The interview link I received via email gives me an error message. What do I do now?

I recently interviewed with a store but haven’t heard anything back yet. How do I follow up?
We try to let you know the outcome of your in-person interview within 48 hours. That message is sent via email to the address you used for your kohlscareers.com account. Be sure to check your spam/junk mail folder first, and if you have been waiting longer than 48 hours to hear from us, please send us a message at email@example.com.
None of the interview times work with my schedule. What should I do?
Each location tries to offer as many day and time options as possible to work with different candidate schedules. If the times provided don’t work for you, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know. Once your availability allows you to interview, please reach back out so we can consider you for any current openings the store may have.
I can’t make the interview date and time I scheduled online. What should I do?
The amount of times you are allowed to reschedule is limited, so we always encourage you to attend at the day and time you originally selected. If your interview is more than one day away, you can use the link within your original invitation email or confirmation email to reschedule your interview. Example: If your interview is Wednesday, you can reschedule all day on Monday, but not on Tuesday. If your interview is less than one day away, please send a message to our team at email@example.com.
How do I send my completed offer forms to you?
Your offer forms are included as links within an offer email. To complete them, just click the link, fill out the requested information and then click “Save.” That’s it! Your form will be electronically submitted to our staffing team. There’s no need to print the forms, bring them to the store or email them as attachments.
I clicked “Save” after completing my offer forms. How do I know if you received them?
You’ll receive a confirmation email within 48 hours to let you know that everything was submitted and to explain next steps.
I received an error message when I tried to save my offer forms. What’s wrong?
It might be the device you’re using. Try switching to a desktop or laptop device (rather than a phone or tablet) and/or switch browsers. The electronic offer forms are most compatible with Internet Explorer (and versions newer than 8). If you continue to have issues, please send a message to our team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I am choosing to decline my offer. Should I contact the store directly?
If you have not yet submitted your Offer Acceptance form, choose “No” when answering the question about accepting employment and save the form. Our team will receive that response and inform the appropriate store team members. If you have already filled out the Offer Acceptance form and answered “Yes” and now need to update your status, please send a message to our team at email@example.com.
I never received my offer forms. How can I have them sent to me again?
Your offer forms will be sent to the email address you provided for your kohlscareers.com account. Make sure to check your spam/junk mail folders first. If you still do not see your offer, please send us a message at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How do I take my drug test?
If a drug test is required to begin in the position you’ve been offered, you will receive additional information from our drug test vendor, First Advantage, by email after all your offer forms are completed. Please note that a 48-hour deadline applies to the drug testing process, so look for that email and take action right away.
I accepted my job offer. When will I be scheduled for my first day?
Once your offer forms are completed and saved we will begin your pre-employment check process. We appreciate your patience as this can take up to a week, and sometimes longer, to complete. Once your required pre-employment checks have cleared, you’ll receive an email asking you to schedule your orientation session. Much like the interview scheduling email you may have received earlier in the hiring process, you’ll be able to choose a date and time that works for you. Your orientation session is considered your first day of work with Kohl’s! Woo hoo!

I can’t attend the orientation date and time I scheduled online. What should I do?
We ask that new hires make every effort to keep the date and time they chose during the online scheduling process. If you have an emergency situation that prevents you from attending, and you have not yet received the confirmation email with your first day information, you may be able to use your original scheduling link (from your orientation invitation email) to reschedule yourself online. If you have already received your confirmation email, please send us a message at firstname.lastname@example.org. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that late notice reschedules of orientation will be permitted.
What should I bring to orientation? How should I dress?
You’ll need to bring emergency contact information, bank information to set up direct deposit of your pay, and documentation for the I-9 verification process (please see the I-9 acceptable documents form attached to your offer letter). In general, we ask that you wear business casual attire. Clothing and footwear should always be neat and not excessively worn.

Kohl’s Loss Prevention works in partnership with store management to ensure operational excellence to reduce exposure to theft and loss. Loss Prevention develops and implements Associate awareness programs to address theft, safety, inventory and operational controls. They also administer product protection strategies and deterrence programs and are responsible for shoplifter apprehension and internal theft investigations.

At Kohl’s we expect our store management team to go above and beyond for customers — and our team delivers. Our store executives manage a significant retail sales volume while leading, directing and motivating a large team of store Associates.
We seek talented managers who can provide effective leadership in areas including store presentation, customer service, sales and operating profit, payroll and expense management, inventory control, and Associate retention and supervision.
Kohl’s stores are managed by one store manager and two to four assistant store managers (ASMs), depending on the overall size and sales volume of the store. The executive team works together to ensure optimal store performance through industry leading customer service, high standard sales floor expectations and development and engagement of all store Associates.
The store manager oversees all store operations, merchandising, profit and loss, training and development of assistant store managers, hiring goals and retention. They are responsible for the success of their store.
The Operations ASM is responsible for a majority of the day-to-day operations of the store, including the continuous flow of merchandise from the truck to the sales floor, maintaining an accurate inventory of all units and ensuring building cleanliness and upkeep, including full or partial store remodels.
The merchandising ASM is responsible for the sales floor, including presentation of merchandise on the sales floor to follow monthly directives and updates, as well as managing the sales and credit solicitation goals for the store.
In large, high volume stores, an overnight ASM leads a team of Associates to unload trucks of merchandise, maintain the cleanliness and organization of the stock rooms and replenish the sales floor.
